I don't think we ever met, but we were certainly in close proximity
several years ago. I was part of the old THOR team and have been
at the AI Lab off and on since then. The reason for this letter is
your thesis. I am getting interested in on-line program construction
using displays. It seems a viable approach to reliability; I have
some ideas on relating semantics to the construction process.

All I have seen is ANL-7818. I am wondering if you have pursued
EMILY (tsk,tsk), and what reflections you might have on your
work in the intervening four years?
